TRUE Mentors hosts many events throughout the month and we are constantly updating our calendar. Each calendar event contains contact information in case you have any questions. We look forward to impacting the lives of children in Hudson County with you.
During the school year, TRUE Mentors offers free weekly enrichment program on Tuesday evenings at Jubilee Center (601Jackson Street) from 6 – 8 p.m. Our Clubs change monthly, with every month featuring a different theme. Clubs are offered on a variety of different enrichment topics including art, science, cooking, and more! Between clubs we take free field trips to for youth to explore local businesses, different career options, and community resources.
The classes are open to all children in 2nd-8th grade, and they create an opportunity for children to interact with other children and the volunteers.

6:00 – 6:30pm Welcome & Small Group Activity
6:30 – 7:45pm Snack & Question of the Day
7:45 – 8:00pm Club Activity
Mentor Training
All mentors are required to attend our 2-hour, Mentor Training Program. This training is designed to help our new mentors develop a deeper understanding of our mentoring programs, what it means to be a TRUE mentor and a chance to hear how our current mentors are making an impact on children in Hoboken.
