TRUE Mentors hosts many events throughout the month and we are constantly updating our calendar. Each calendar event contains contact information in case you have any questions. We look forward to impacting the lives of children in Hudson County with you.
Join us for an aerial silks and gymnastics class with the Lovely Lioness Studio in Union City. Pick up is available at the Jubilee center at 1:45 PM or participants can be dropped directly at the Union City studio at 2:50 PM. A small snack will be provided after the lesson. Permission waivers required for participation.
TRUE Mentors is excited to bring back monthly Produce Giveaways for families in need. Each bag will contain the following from locally sourced venues:
4-5 Fresh Vegetables
4-5 Fresh Fruits
3-5 Fresh Herbs
In addition, bags will include nutritional information, storage instructions, and recipes.
Enrichment Clubs is our group mentoring opportunity in which youth enrolled in our programs between ages 7 – 16 can meet on Tuesdays throughout the school year. It includes a small meal and 2-3 activities the youth can chose to participate in. These activities focus on building peer relationships, practicing skills, and investing in the collective interests and talents of our participants.
This program has open enrollment but new participants must be dropped off by a guardian or sent with a fully completed enrollment packet in order to be allowed to join.
April 26th Activities will include:
- Kickball or Sock War
- Arts & Crafts Family Crests
- Decorate and take home a potted plant
