It is bittersweet to announce my departure from TRUE Mentors to pursue an opportunity within an independent school setting. I have TRUE-ly enjoyed my time here and can’t thank the TRUE Mentors board and staff enough for trusting me to lead this organization the past three years. The relationships I have formed with our students, staff and volunteers will endure long after I leave and the impact you have all had on me will last a lifetime. As a New Jersey transplant, everyone here made me feel so welcome and quickly made Hoboken the place I call home. As sad as I am to leave, I am just as excited to have the opportunity to volunteer alongside you on Tuesday evenings and have my own mentee in the future.

Even more exciting is having the opportunity to promote our executive assistant, Bliss Lecea, into her new role as Program Coordinator! Bliss is such an amazing asset to TM and has already built strong connections with our families and volunteers since she started in September. Since joining our team, Bliss has assisted each week with our Club program, facilitated match meetings and family interviews, assisted our marketing team with flyers and social media and has recently taken on the planning and coordinating of all three of our mentoring programs.
