This August, newcomer to the Hoboken area, Jersey Mike’s raised over $2,000 for TRUE Mentors as part of the company’s long standing tradition of working with local non-profits. When opening new locations, Jersey Mike’s looks for community partners to raise funds for and Kyle Woodworth, Prospect Capital Restaurant’s District Manager, selected TRUE Mentors after he saw “the excellent testimonials from people who have been affiliated with TRUE or have benefited from their services”
Woodworth personally connected with TRUE Mentor’s mission saying, “I know that I would not be where I am today without plenty of guidance along the way.” The importance of giving back to the community is one of the main goals for TRUE Mentors as well as Jersey Mike’s.
Whether it’s through the food or through fundraising like the partnership with TRUE Mentors, Kyle stated “the mission of Jersey Mike’s is giving. We are lucky enough to be in Hoboken, and we believe it is our responsibility to do our best for the community we serve.”
