How did you first hear about TRUE Mentors and how often do you attend?
I heard about it from Ayana, Adriel and Brianna. I attend almost every week!
What do you enjoy most about TRUE Mentors?
I enjoy cooking and building things. I am currently building a toy car with metal pieces and screws. I enjoy attending the TRUE Mentors field trips and trying new things.
What is your favorite club activity so far?
Cooking. I like to cook.
What new strengths have you discovered while being at TRUE Mentors?
I learned to be calmer in how people may approach me. If I am arguing with somebody, instead of hitting them I start to think about it and how I might get in trouble and I calm myself down.
Did you ever try something brand new/for the first time at TRUE mentors?
I never attended a professional soccer game until the Red Bulls trip.
Have you met anyone new? What do you like about the people at TRUE Mentors?
I’ve met Nitzah and Beyonce. They are really cool friends that relate to me. The adults are nice and they really care about us.
Why should kids get involved in the TRUE Mentors Enrichment Club Program?
So they can experience new things like I did.
